After selling out their last two Castlebar shows and their Irish tour last April Jedward are back again for two nights on August 18 and 19 just in time to enjoy a great night out before school is back. The show combines some of their great hits from X Factor as well as new cover songs. Louis Walsh said: “Jedward really captured the public’s imagination while on The X Factor, and love them or hate them you can’t deny that they were the talking point of the series. As Under Pressure was the track that really catapulted the boys to fame it seemed only fitting to release the song as their first single.” And despite Edward injuring his leg recently during a performance, Mr Walsh said, “Jedward are determined to see out their Irish tour commitment.”

(aka Rarely Seen Above Ground, aka Jeremy Hickey) is a multi-instrumentalist hailing from the Marble city who has been making waves since 2008 with his explosive live set and a double album release, Organic Sampler – the debut which received a five star review from The Irish Times as well as gaining a Choice Music Prize nomination in the same year. Now back with his Leo Pearson produced follow-up album Be It Right Or Wrong, R.S.A.G. is sure of another busy year in 2010.

Friday night cabaret returns at the Royal Theatre

Friday night is cabaret night this summer at The Royal Theatre with Fine Girl Ye Are, The High Kings, De Dannan, and Crystal Swing all leading the line up on different nights this summer in the Royal Theatre. Fine Girl Ye Are kick off things next Friday July 9. It’s a fantastic new show of Irish music, song, and dance celebrating the story of the Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem - performed by The Kilkennys. It's a cabaret show full of energy, emotion, fun, and history. The show promises to feature a night’s worth of music, dancing, and craic and will included much loved songs as ‘The Holy Ground’, ‘I’ll tell me Ma!’, ‘The Bold O’Donoghue’, and ‘The Irish Rover’.
